Nato a Todi (I) nel 1957. Nel 1975 conosce Piero Dorazio divenendone assistente stringendo con lui una solida amicizia. In quegli anni inizia a disegnare e dipingere i suoi primi quadri. Dal 1978 al 1992 è il direttore artistico del Centro Internazionale della Ceramica di Montesanto. Nei primi anni ottanta tiene esposizioni personali e collettive in Italia, Europa e Stati Uniti, nello stesso periodo realizza alcune opere alla Fondazione Fiumara d’arte in Sicilia. Dal 1991 inizia a collaborare con la Galerie Annamarie Andersen di Zurigo e la Frankfurt Westend Galerie di Francoforte. Nel 1997 realizza una grande opera in mosaico per la Stazione Metro di Piazza Barberini a Roma. Nel 2002 è invitato a Baghdad alla mostra “Arte per l’Umanità”. Intraprende lunghi viaggi attraverso il centro Asia, dove raccoglie oggetti tessuti e tappeti che influiscono sulla sua ricerca. Nel 2005 è curatore della mostra Omaggio a Giuseppe Mazzini al Kunsthaus di Grenchen (CH). Nel 2007 è invitato al Saloon de Paris. Oltre a dipingere, continua come instancabile organizzatore di numerose manifestazioni artistiche a sostegno dei giovani artisti italiani.

Graziano Marini was born in 1957 in Todi (Italy). In 1975 he met Piero Dorazio, with whom he formed a long working relationship as assistant. In 1978 he founded the “Centro Internazionale della Ceramica Montesanto”, of which he was artistic director until 1992. In 1985 he held his first solo exhibition in Rome, which was followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy, Europe and the United States. In the same years he designed some works at the Fiumara Art Foundation in Sicily. Since 1991 he started to collaborate with Galerie Annamarie Andersen in Zurich and Frankfurt Westend in Frankfurt. In 1997 he created a large mosaic, a work for the Metro Station of Piazza Barberini in Rome. In 2002 he was invited to the 3. International Festivals of Plastic Art in Baghdad (“Art for Humanity”). On that occasion he went on a long trip through Central Asia, collecting woven fabrics and carpets. These handicrafts influenced hisresearch. In 2005 he was curator of the exhibition “Tribute to Giuseppe Mazzini” at the Kunsthaus of Grenchen in Switzerland. In 2007 he was invited to the Salon de Paris. He has been the organizer and curator of numerous artistic events, awards and exhibitions that support young Italian artists.

Geboren 1957 in Todi (I). 1975 lernt er Piero Dorazio kennen und wird dessen Assistent, in dieser Zeit entsteht eine tiefe Freundschaft zwischen ihnen. Marini beginnt zu zeichnen und es entstehen die ersten Bilder. Zwischen 1978 und 1992 ist er der künstlerische Leiter des Internationalen Keramik Zentrums in Montesanto (I). Er bespielt Einzelausstellungen und nimmt an Kollektivausstellungen in Italien, Europa und den Vereinigten Staaten teil, zudem realisiert er mehrere Werke in der Stiftung Fiumara d’Arte in Sizilien. Seit 1991 arbeitet er mit der Galerie Annamarie Andersen in Zürich (CH) und der Frankfurt Westend Galerie in Frankfurt (D) zusammen. 1997 schafft er ein Mosaik für die U-Bahnstation Piazza Barberini in Rom. 2002 ist er zu der Ausstellung “Arte per l’Umanità” nach Bagdad eingeladen. Er unternimmt lange Reisen durch Zentral-Asien, wo er gewobene Objekte und Teppiche sammelt, welche seine weiteren Arbeiten beeinflussen. 2005 kuratiert er die Ausstellung Hommage an Giuseppe Mazzini im Kunsthaus Grenchen (CH). 2007 wird er als einziger italienischer Künstler an den Salon de Paris eingeladen. Neben der Malerei setzt er sich unermüdlich als Organisator von zahlreichen künstlerischen Veranstaltungen zur Unterstützung junger italienischer Künstler ein.
